Only authorized users could access the medcap.unito.it service. Authorization should be provided on a per research project basis. Authorization is provided by Principal Investigators and/or Research Managers of research projects users are involved in. Principal Investigators and Research Managers act on behalf of Medcap Processors.

In order to be granted access to medcap.unito.it requester user should:

1. attend the online medcap policy course, perform the evaluation test and obtain the Medcap Policy Awareness Certificate (MPAC)
2. Fill-in the online Medcap Registration Form (MRF): user would be requested to:
1. Upload the MPAC, if it has not already been provided.
2. Enter your email address, using the same one used to obtain the MPAC.
3. Confirm your request by clicking the link received via email.
4. Select the Principal Investigator/Research Manager who will authorize the data processing.
5. Set a password for the Medcap system and configure two-factor authentication on your device (Google Authenticator or an equivalent app).

Solo gli utenti autorizzati possono accedere al servizio medcap.unito.it. L'autorizzazione deve essere fornita per ciascun progetto di ricerca. L'autorizzazione viene concessa dai Principal Investigators e/o dai Research Managers dei progetti di ricerca in cui gli utenti sono coinvolti. I Principal Investigators e i Research Managers agiscono per conto dei Responsabili del Trattamento Medcap.

Per ottenere l'accesso a medcap.unito.it, l'utente richiedente deve:

1. Frequentare il corso online sulla policy medcap (versione italiana), svolgere il test di valutazione e ottenere il Medcap Policy Awareness Certificate (MPAC)
2. Compilare il Medcap Registration Form (MRF): all'utente verrá richiesto di:
1. caricare l'MPAC se non ancora fornito;
2. inserire il proprio indirizzo email, lo stesso usato per ottenere l'MPAC
3. confermare la proprio richiesta cliccando sul link che arriva sulla mail
4. selezionare il Principal Investigator/Research Manager che fornirá l'autorizzazione al trattamento.
5. Impostare la password sul sistema Medcap e configurare su un proprio device il sistema per l'autenticazione a due fattori (Google Authenticator o app equivalente).
